About The Position

The Supply Planning Manager partakes in, and oversees the supply planning process utilizing recently implemented ERP and MRP systems across multiple contract manufacturers and suppliers. The role plays a critical function in balancing supply chain needs, inventory objectives and customer demand. The Supply Planning Manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining key KPI metrics associated with the supply chain including fill rate, plan accuracy, inventory turnover, and schedule adherence. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast paced environment, have a continuous improvement mindset, and drive process and efficiency.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8+ years working in Supply Chain role for consumer goods company, beauty a plus but not mandatory.
  • Experience working with NetSuite or similar ERP is required; experience with a supply/demand planning system (e.g., SAP, John Galt, o9, Kinaxis) strongly preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Must possess the ability to analyze large sets of data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Strong problem-solving skills are essential to tackle complex issues, identifying root causes and developing effective solutions.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Effective communication is vital for collaborating with cross-functional teams, conveying supply chain plans and addressing issues or concerns.
  • Ability to think strategically to align supply chain activities with overall business objectives, identify opportunities for improvement, and drive long-term success.
  • The ability to adapt to changes in market conditions, customer preferences, and internal processes is essential for navigating the dynamic nature of our business

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a production plan in alignment with demand forecasts, inventory strategies, and constraints, balancing short-term execution needs with long-term scalability.
  • Be a key part of the S&OP process
  • Partner with the Director of Contract Manufacturing to optimize resource allocation and meet business growth objectives
  • Shared ownership of component planning. Develop and execute a component plan across the supplier network; including safety stock, lead-time adherence, and inventory strategies.
  • PO reconciliation across contract manufacturers and suppliers.
  • Optimize inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing carrying costs, excess, and obsolete stock, maintain 98% fill rate across the organization.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting of key KPIs used to manage the business and communicate insights to stakeholders.
  • Identify and mitigate supply chain bottlenecks and disruptions. Present alternative scenarios and solutions.
  • Partner with internal logistics to ensure timely delivery of the right products to the right customers from the correct warehouse.
  • Apply a growth mindset, a problem-solving approach to repetitive challenges.
