About The Position

As an External Operations Planner, you will play a crucial role in managing a portfolio of external manufacturers and key supplier relationships. Your primary responsibility will be to enhance delivery, quality, and total cost of ownership while ensuring inventory aligns with sales forecasts to meet customer service and inventory targets.

Requirements

A minimum of one year of relevant professional work experience.
Experience in Supply Chain / Operations.
Fluent in English.
Proficiency in SAP, OMP, or similar MRP planning systems.
Strong analytical skills with advanced knowledge of Excel.
Excellent organization, time management, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to be highly detail-oriented with outstanding follow-up skills.
Capability to resolve both technical and supply-based issues.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent University degree required, preferably in Business, Engineering, Logistics, or Supply Chain.
Experience in Medical Device or Pharmaceutical supply chains is preferred.
Proven knowledge of manufacturing principles and practices.
Flexibility to travel up to 10% domestically and/or internationally.
Ability and flexibility to work on weekends/off hours for patient support.

Responsibilities

Manage a portfolio including external manufacturers within their scope.
Manage key supplier relationships to drive improvement in delivery, quality, and total cost of ownership.
Plan inventory per sales forecast to meet both customer service and inventory targets.
Report shortages and surpluses of company products to management and communicate business-related issues or opportunities to the next management level.
Analyze changes in inventory relating to supply, demand, and pricing.
Resolve issues related to supplier invoicing, receipt, payment, and delivery as necessary.
