About The Position

Attindas Hygiene Partners is hiring a Supply Planner to be located in our Greenville, NC manufacturing facility. The Supply Planner is responsible for the planning and subsequent finished product purchasing to ensure the company can meet market demand while maintaining inventory at target levels. The position works closely with procurement and forecasting members to ensure that all responsibilities relating to the role are being met and are coordinated properly with a focus of becoming a world class organization.

Requirements

At least a 4-year degree in business, Logistics, or engineering or at least 2 years of experience in logistics, manufacturing and/or planning to support a manufacturing facility.
Microsoft Office Suite with advanced excel skills
Planning Software (Outperform) or similar and Scheduling skills
Working knowledge of Oracle, SAP or similar system
Strong analytical skills
Acute attention to details
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Ability to work in team environment, interface and work across all levels of the organization
Self-starter with flexibility to meet challenging priorities
Possess a positive and proactive approach to problems and opportunities

Nice To Haves

Experience working with a converting operation.
Experience establishing and maintaining stocking policies within a planning system.
Experience using planning software along with ERP experience such as PeopleSoft, SAP, or Oracle.

Responsibilities

Responsible for planning and purchasing finished goods and resolving supply delays.
Reviews production schedules and demand plan needs against inventory levels and storage capacity in order to plan inbound bulk materials to meet operational needs
Monitor stock levels across warehouses to prevent shortages or costly overstock based on stocking policies.
Communicates any known or potential material shortages, delays or issues, while also working to develop solutions with suppliers and internal resources
Maintains files such as inventory records and delivery performance reporting.
Ensure data integrity within ERP and planning software suite in order to identify trends and seek opportunities for improvement in overall service, as well as review and assist to resolve invoicing discrepancies in Oracle as needed.
Manages transition of components related to reformulations, redesigns, new product introductions, and item discontinuation from standpoint of reduction in ordering or ordering first orders in a timely fashion-lifecycle planning.
Interacts with Master Planner, Master Data, Procurement, Scheduling, Sales Planning, Suppliers, and Category Planners to plan and execute smooth transition plans and supports Corporate Procurement Managers in the implementation of any Divisional or Plant Cost Savings initiatives
Documentation of supply planning processes and procedures.
Performs other duties as assigned
