About The Position

The Supply Planner ensures the right products are available at the right time to meet customer demand. The role manages finished goods inventory, executes replenishment strategies, analyzes supply chain performance, and partners across the organization to support service, efficiency, and inventory optimization.

The position is a hybrid office role, with four days in the office and one day remote. Saputo describes development opportunities, compensation and benefits, and opportunities to contribute to the community through its products.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in Supply Chain Planning or operational inventory management.
• Ability to proactively communicate and address issues; critical thinking skills.
• Proven analytical, data management, organization, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Excel.

Nice To Haves

• Training and experience with perishables and/or the dairy industry.
• Previous ERP/SAP experience.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end finished goods planning, from replenishment orders through customer shipments.
• Own, improve, and maintain planning parameters in SAP/APO planning software, including lead times, order quantities, and stocking targets.
• Develop inventory plans for launches, promotions, replacements, and seasonal demand.
• Execute replenishment orders from internal and external sources.
• Collaborate regularly with internal and external stakeholders, including Production Planning, MRP, Transportation, Sales, Sales Operations, Marketing, Category Management, and Customer Service.
• Identify and communicate current and future shortages and recovery plans.
• Prioritize inventory risk reviews and identify opportunities to mitigate inventory risk.
• Analyze KPIs, including fill rate and loss, and identify strategies to improve performance.
