About The Position

Claru (a Reka business line) is building a layer to record the physical world in a form a model can learn from. They sell data to frontier labs and robotics companies, achieving significant ARR growth rapidly with a small team. Claru operates a two-sided marketplace where labs present research problems and budgets, and contributors and partner businesses capture their existing work, getting paid per approved unit. This role focuses on the supply side of this marketplace. The ideal candidate is AI-native, prioritizing automation and scalable systems over team growth, and capable of entering unfamiliar markets to establish capacity.

Requirements

Early-stage marketplace operating experience, including managing one side of a flywheel from a standing start in a new territory or vertical (recruitment, pricing, retention, economics).
AI-native mindset: prioritizing time with agents, automating processes before staffing, and improving systems for volume rather than increasing headcount.
Hands-on operational experience (former founders, high-growth startup hires, consulting, or business operations background are a strong plus).
Ability to close business directly through conversations with partner businesses.
Numerate: ability to build models, analyze cost per unit, and advocate for changes.
Credibility with both company owners and shift supervisors.

Responsibilities

Build a portfolio of partner businesses whose staff capture their work on shift across various environments (event venues, retail back-of-house, construction, agriculture, hotels, warehousing).
Grow the contributor base and open new geographies, ensuring supply is owned and multi-channel to avoid single dependencies.
Own the geo rate card, defining defensible costs per approved unit by market and project type.
Own capacity forecasting to ensure delivery capabilities align with Program Lead commitments.
Own contributor experience and retention, including onboarding, timely payments, and support.
Partner with the platform team to develop self-serve supply tooling.
