Engineer 1/2/Sr - Supply (Thermal Generation Engineer)
About The Position
This is a multi-level posting where candidates may be considered for any of the posted levels, depending on education, years of experience, and depth of expertise. The engineer provides technical work and directs others in technical work in the planning, designing, procurement, and construction of additions, changes, or maintenance to MidAmerican Energy Company's generating units. The senior-level engineer may participate in the direction of work for Engineer 2, Engineer 1, drafting technicians, contractors, and craft personnel. Preference will be given to applicants with an electrical engineering background. MidAmerican Energy Company, a Midwest utility, provides regulated electric and natural gas service to more than 1.6 million customers in Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska, and South Dakota.
