About The Position

This is a full-time position (40 hours) with benefits, working a shift from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday. The Supply and Distribution Associate monitors departmental supplies, orders appropriately, and prepares work orders. They maintain department files and assist in controlling inventory by verifying, receiving, distributing, and stocking items. The role involves using a computer to update product information and maintaining a neat and orderly warehouse. The associate will also assist management with perpetual inventories through cycle counts and physical inventories. At specific locations, driving a Guthrie vehicle may be required.

Requirements

  • High School Education or GED Required
  • Valid Driver's license (Only at RPH Sayre)
  • On the job training to attain competency.

Responsibilities

  • Monitors departmental supplies and orders to maintain appropriate stock levels.
  • Maintains department filing system.
  • Verifies contents of delivered inventory and receives in MMIS system appropriately.
  • Performs inventory updates and adjustments in MMIS system.
  • Restocks material management and direct inventory locations.
  • Monitors outdates in par locations.
  • Performs physical inventories and cycle counts and assists in inventory audits.
  • Generates stock level reports and works with Supervisor to identify stock issues and opportunities.
  • Participates in the Performance Improvement Program by identifying areas in which Performance Improvement can be applied, collecting and organizing performance measurement data, and participating on Performance Improvement Teams.
  • Maintains accurate information for requisitions and inventory counts.
  • Communicates discrepancies and inventory problems to management.
  • Restocks in a timely manner.
  • Performs shipping functions utilizing Fedex, UPS, US Mail, or Common Carrier.
  • Uses effective time management, flexibility, and priority setting to maintain normal department functions both in supervised and unsupervised environments.
  • Works closely with other team members, adapts to change to improve services.
  • Answers phone promptly, identifies self and records accurate information.
  • Participates in orientation and on the job training of new employees and acts as a role model for other associates.
  • Represents The Guthrie Clinic in a professional courteous manner to co-workers, visitors, and others.
  • Attends and participates in staff meetings.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
