About The Position

Tactica Solutions, LLC is seeking an experienced and qualified Supply Clerk for a Systems Engineering & Technical Assistance (SETA) contract supporting the U.S. Army Space and Missile Defense Command (USASMDC) Office of the Deputy Chief of Staff, G-4 for the Logistics Operations Division in Colorado Springs, CO. Perform comprehensive supply management functions—including receiving, storing, issuing, and accounting for equipment, materials, and supplies—to ensure uninterrupted logistical support to USASMDC operations. Process supply requests, transactions, and updates using GCSS Army and other Army property accountability systems to maintain accurate, real time visibility of organizational assets. Conduct scheduled and unscheduled physical inventories, cyclic counts, and property book reconciliations to ensure full accountability and audit readiness of government property. Prepare, review, and process all required supply documentation, including hand receipts, DA Form 3161s, turning packets, lateral transfer actions, and excess property submissions in accordance with Army policy. Receive, inspect, and process inbound shipments from vendors, depots, and other supply sources; verify quantities, condition codes, and documentation prior to acceptance. Maintain accurate and compliant supply records, files, and accountability documentation in accordance with AR 710 4, DA PAM 710 2 1, and other applicable Army regulations and SOPs. Coordinate with the Property Book Officer (PBO), Unit Supply Sergeant, and support organizations to resolve discrepancies, correct accountability issues, and support internal and external audits. Prepare and contribute to supply status reports, briefings, and data calls for the G-4 logistics team to support command level decision making. Perform additional supply technician duties as assigned by the government supervisor to support mission requirements and evolving organizational needs.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in Army or DoD supply operations, property accountability, or logistics support.
  • Prior service as an Army 92Y (Unit Supply Specialist) or equivalent military occupational specialty strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency with GCSS-Army or similar Defense property accountability systems.
  • Familiarity with AR 710-4 (Supply Policy), AR 735-5 (Property Accountability Policies), and related Army regulations.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs. and operate materiel handling equipment as required.
  • Active Secret security clearance required.
  • U.S. Citizenship required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting USASMDC, SMDC, or Army space/missile defense organizations.
  • Familiarity with Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) supply processes and Federal Logistics (FedLog) system.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business, or related field preferred.
