About The Position

MANTECH is seeking a motivated, career- and customer-oriented Supply Clerk to join its vehicle sustainment team in North Charleston, South Carolina. The selected candidate will provide logistics support to multiple families of vehicles worldwide on the Allied Logistics Engineering Capabilities Sustainment (ALECS) program. The position supports inbound and outbound shipments, logistics coordination, customer and inventory information, and material distribution.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Experience querying and entering data for supply, acquisition, and inventory purposes; pulling and staging equipment for shipment; packaging equipment and preparing required paperwork; and staging and shipping equipment for repair.
• Experience with inventory and requisitioning supplies, maintaining stocks of supplies and equipment, and operating material-handling equipment.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
• Valid driver’s license for the location where the work will be performed.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be a U.S. citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance before starting the position.
• Ability to balance, bend, carry, crouch, stretch, and kneel; push, pull, and reach; work in high-noise areas; lift 50 pounds and small parts; and work with computers and CRTs and type on a computer keyboard.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with military or commercial logistics supply systems, automated and manual supply systems, and equipment serviceability standards and criteria.
• Willingness to accept temporary transfers within the United States or overseas (OCONUS) to other assignments, if needed.

Responsibilities

• Help manage inbound and outbound shipment flows cost-effectively and coordinate distribution points for incoming and outgoing material.
• Route outbound delivered loads and inbound back-hauls, and coordinate common carrier activities.
• Use logistics software and maintain customer database network systems and profiles by customer location.
• Manage load utilization and reference Department of Transportation regulations on hours of service.
• Update customer information and maintain customer delivery time windows.
• Track raw materials and manage communications associated with logistics distribution of material.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
