About The Position

Every patient care experience depends on having the right supplies, equipment, and resources available at the right time. As a Supply Chain Technician, you'll play a critical role in ensuring our healthcare teams have everything they need to provide exceptional care. This position is perfect for individuals who enjoy organization, problem-solving, teamwork, and working in a fast-paced environment. As an integral member of the Supply Chain team, you'll collaborate closely with purchasing, clinical departments, and warehouse operations to keep our hospital running efficiently and effectively.

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required.
One year of related experience in supply chain, warehouse operations, inventory management, logistics, or healthcare preferred.
Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
Highly organized and detail-oriented.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Comfortable working with inventory systems and computer-based applications.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
Thrive in a team-oriented environment.
Ability to enter, retrieve, organize, and analyze data using computerized systems.
Ability to read and interpret packing lists, delivery tickets, operating procedures, and safety documentation.
Basic mathematical skills for inventory management and supply reconciliation.

Responsibilities

Order and replenish medical and non-medical supplies for hospital departments.
Maintain inventory control records and monitor stock levels to ensure product availability.
Restock nurse server and linen cabinet supplies throughout the facility.
Organize and maintain departmental supply areas for efficiency and accessibility.
Receive, verify, and distribute incoming supplies and equipment.
Input and reconcile purchase orders to ensure receiving accuracy.
Deliver supplies to departments in a timely and organized manner.
Assist with shipping and receiving operations as needed.
Maintain departmental equipment storage areas.
Transport equipment for cleaning and reprocessing as required.
Support warehouse organization and inventory maintenance.
Assist in maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient work environment.
Work closely with clinical staff, purchasing teams, and warehouse personnel to meet departmental needs.
Communicate effectively with managers and team members regarding supply and inventory concerns.
Contribute to process improvements that enhance efficiency and customer service.
