About The Position

Every patient care experience depends on having the right supplies, equipment, and resources available at the right time. As a Supply Chain Technician, you'll play a critical role in ensuring our healthcare teams have everything they need to provide exceptional care. This position is perfect for individuals who enjoy organization, problem-solving, teamwork, and working in a fast-paced environment. As an integral member of the Supply Chain team, you'll collaborate closely with purchasing, clinical departments, and warehouse operations to keep our hospital running efficiently and effectively.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • One year of related experience in supply chain, warehouse operations, inventory management, logistics, or healthcare preferred.
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Comfortable working with inventory systems and computer-based applications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Thrive in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to enter, retrieve, organize, and analyze data using computerized systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret packing lists, delivery tickets, operating procedures, and safety documentation.
  • Basic mathematical skills for inventory management and supply reconciliation.

Responsibilities

  • Order and replenish medical and non-medical supplies for hospital departments.
  • Maintain inventory control records and monitor stock levels to ensure product availability.
  • Restock nurse server and linen cabinet supplies throughout the facility.
  • Organize and maintain departmental supply areas for efficiency and accessibility.
  • Receive, verify, and distribute incoming supplies and equipment.
  • Input and reconcile purchase orders to ensure receiving accuracy.
  • Deliver supplies to departments in a timely and organized manner.
  • Assist with shipping and receiving operations as needed.
  • Maintain departmental equipment storage areas.
  • Transport equipment for cleaning and reprocessing as required.
  • Support warehouse organization and inventory maintenance.
  • Assist in maintaining a safe, clean, and efficient work environment.
  • Work closely with clinical staff, purchasing teams, and warehouse personnel to meet departmental needs.
  • Communicate effectively with managers and team members regarding supply and inventory concerns.
  • Contribute to process improvements that enhance efficiency and customer service.
