About The Position
The Supply Chain Technician supports the efficient operation of the hospital's supply chain, ensuring the timely and accurate receipt, storage, and distribution of medical supplies and equipment to support patient care. This role contributes to inventory management, par-level maintenance, and general stockroom organization.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
Nice To Haves
- 2 years of Supply Chain/Materials Management
- 2 Years Lawson procurement or Supply Chain
Responsibilities
- Support, advise and assist departmental managers within their hospital with supply chain needs.
- Support and participate in Corporate Supply Chain initiatives.
- Assist with local hospital recalls.
- Assist with the creation and upkeep of max/min reorder points to ensure product availability within corporate objectives.
- Support the shipping, receiving, inventory control and dispatch functions of supply chain management.
- Assist with cycle/inventory counts consistent with corporate guidelines.
