About The Position
The Supply Chain Technician is an entry-level position based in the local ministry supported by the role. Under the direction of the Supervisor, Supply Chain Operations, the position supports daily supply chain operations and logistics functions at acute care ministries, medical group clinics, long-term care facilities, and warehouse operations for the respective ministry. The technician works with customers within the ministry to provide an effective, streamlined supply chain experience for caregivers. Typical work includes receiving, distribution, picking, put-away, product delivery, par/point-of-use replenishment and stocking, and entering patient charges as directed.
Requirements
- Combination of education and directly applicable related work experience.
- Relevant experience in a warehouse or storeroom environment is recommended, preferably using an electronic inventory management system.
Nice To Haves
- Medical materials management experience.
Responsibilities
- Support daily supply chain operations and logistics functions at the assigned ministry or site.
- Receive, distribute, pick, put away, and deliver products.
- Replenish and stock par and point-of-use locations.
- Enter patient charges as directed.
