About The Position

Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital, part of Lifepoint Health, is seeking a Supply Chain Technician. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate inventory and ensuring the smooth operation of supply distribution within the hospital. The hospital is a modern, state-of-the-art 295-bed acute care facility committed to making communities healthier.

Requirements

• High School diploma preferred.
• Critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision in a stressful environment.
• Ability to quickly learn and navigate multiple computer systems.
• Effective English communication (read, write, speak, and understand).
• Ability to complete the Skills Competency Checklist within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs periodic cycle counts to ensure accurate inventory; adjusts inventory records as needed.
• Stocks units with office and medical supplies; prepares requisitions to maintain par levels.
• Receives shipments, logs receipts, enters data into the inventory system, delivers items to departments or other facilities, and reports/documents errors or damages to management.
• Answers the telephone, receiving dock, and walk-up window professionally; routes calls/messages appropriately.
• Completes clerical/computer tasks that support patient care delivery.
• Processes outgoing mail.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
