About The Position
UW Medical Center-Montlake - Supply Chain Management has an outstanding opportunity for a Supply Chain Technician 1. This role serves as an important contributor supporting the patient care experience by ensuring healthcare providers have access to vital medical supplies and equipment. The position involves providing exceptional customer service while maintaining adequate stock and distributing general, medical, and surgical supplies and equipment throughout the hospital. Additionally, the role requires managing rental equipment using Supply Chain point-of-use (POU) systems and utilizing technology such as handhelds, package scanners, and Materials Management Information Systems (MMIS) for inventory and cost allocations.
Requirements
- High school graduation
- Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license, certification, and/or registration.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining adequate stock and distributing general, medical, and surgical supplies and equipment throughout the hospital
- Manage rental equipment using Supply Chain point-of-use (POU) systems
