About The Position
Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a Supply Chain Technical Coordinator Level 2 to provide support to our team in our Oklahoma City, OK. location. Supports and assists activities within multiple disciplines across the Supply Chain process. Provides technical, tactical and execution support in various aspects of the industry standard supply chain business process areas primarily Supply Chain Manufacturing and Supply Chain Logistics, as well as Supply Chain Business Operations. These employees are primarily responsible for the manual movement, shipping and receiving of materials. Supports and assists activities within multiple disciplines across the Supply Chain process. Provides technical, tactical and execution support in various aspects of the industry standard supply chain business process areas primarily Supply Chain Manufacturing and Supply Chain Logistics, as well as Supply Chain Business Operations. These employees are primarily responsible for the manual movement, shipping and receiving of materials.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED and 2 yrs relevant work experience in shipping/receiving, and/or inventory control
- An Active current U.S Government Secret Clearance (or higher).
- Ability to obtain Special Access Program clearance, as required.
- This position requires the ability to perform moderate strenuous physical and repetitious work to include: bending, stooping, kneeling, carrying tools, lifting up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis
Nice To Haves
- Experience in operating a forklift and other types of freight moving equipment.
- Experience with safely loading and unloading trucks.
- Experience with setting up shipments and/or coordinating with transportation brokers.
- Experience with classified shipping requirements.
- Experience with using an MRP system for storing and issuing inventory.
- Experienced user of MS Office computer programs to accomplish reports, logs, and briefings.
- Hazmat training and experience is desired
Responsibilities
- Preparing and/or coordinating required shipping documentation.
- Storage, tracking, and issuing inventories.
- Monitoring receipt of item at receipt and maintains shipment/receiving records.
- Ordering of needed shipping supplies
