About The Position

Northrop Grumman's Aeronautics Systems Global Supply Chain organization is seeking an Associate Supply Chain Tech Coordinator 1 or Supply Chain Tech Coordinator 2 to join their team in Palmdale, CA. This role supports and assists activities within multiple disciplines across the supply chain process, including loading, unloading, conveying materials, opening containers, counting and weighing items, and wrapping/packing parts for shipment. The position operates on a 1st shift, 4/10s schedule (Monday-Thursday) and is strictly onsite. Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Ability to obtain forklift certification.
Ability to lift 25 lbs. and walk or stand for extended periods of time.
Valid driver’s license, or ability to obtain one.
Knowledge of SAP
Ability to maintain Government Secret Clearance.
For Supply Chain Tech Coordinator 2: 2 years additional education and/or related experience.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience using a forklift/reach lift/pallet jack.
Prior experience using SAP/ MES.
Hazmat or chemical handling experience.
Experience in Aerospace Manufacturing.

Responsibilities

Supports and assists activities within multiple disciplines across the Supply Chain process.
Loads, unloads, and conveys materials and parts to multiple work sites, and performs a combination of tasks under specific direction which may include shipping and/or receiving.
Opens containers using hand tools; counts and weighs materials and records information.
Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks and machines by hand; loads or unloads materials into or from trucks by hand.
Conveys materials using hand truck, forklift, or other devices; stacks or assembles materials; aids by lifting heavy objects by hand.
Works closely with the Receiving and warehouse team.
Wraps and packs parts to send to on and offsite locations.
