Supply Chain Tech - Children's Hospital of Richmond - Days
About The Position
The Supply Chain Tech supports a 24-hour operation that includes daily supply handling; scanning, ordering, inventory stocking; and distribution of materials throughout multi-building and work sites. The Supply Chain Tech manages incoming calls and assists in the workload from the flow of customer calls for stat orders, inquiries, and solving any customer needs. This role does not involve direct patient care; however, it is important to acknowledge the potential to encounter severely injured patients within the hospital environment. Job duties may include access to and/or contact with medications and related supplies.
Requirements
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

- High School Diploma or GED.
- Manual dexterity (eye/hand coordination).
- Performing shift work.
- Reasoning, Hearing, Speaking clearly, Writing legibly, Reading Comprehension.
- Steady work pace.
- Frequent and intense customer interactions.
Nice To Haves
- Previous stock clerk experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Supports a 24-hour operation including daily supply handling, scanning, ordering, inventory stocking, and distribution of materials throughout multi-building and work sites.
- Manages incoming calls and assists with customer needs for stat orders and inquiries.
- Assists with unloading trucks.
- Utilizes equipment to move supplies.
- Regularly moves 50+ carts a shift.
- Performs constant and extended physical work for restocking bulk packaging.
Benefits
- Compensation Range: $16.50 - $24.12
