Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a Inventory Planning Controller or a Principal Inventory Planning Controller. This position will be located in Madison, AL
Requirements
- High school diploma and 5 years relevant experience (for level 2)
- High school diploma and 8 years relevant experience (for level 3)
- Knowledge of SAP or similar ERP software for inventory management and tracking.
- Must be highly proficient with Microsoft suite
- Proficient computer skills
- Proficient in technical writing

- Strong time management skills and maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
- High degree of creativity and ability to solve a wide range of problems independently.
- Demonstrated proficiency to determine and set priorities to meet production schedules; re-establish priorities as schedule requirements dictate.
- Experience working with manufacturing and production ERP systems and closing out completed work orders.
- Knowledge of shipping and receiving functions and ERP systems.
Responsibilities
- Writes and updates required procedure
- Runs receiving/ warehouse reports to ensure process compliance
- Perform quality audit of receiving transactions daily
- Maintains KPI data in Tableau
- Supports Freight Billing
- Works to clear negligent charges
- Runs inventory reports to ensure freight billing is costed correctly across appropriate networks
