About The Position

The Strategic National Stockpile (SNS) Group at Leidos currently has an opening for a Supply Chain Systems Specialist in Atlanta, GA. This role is full-time onsite in Atlanta, GA. Candidates MUST be US Citizens or US Persons (Green Card Holders) with the ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance. This is an exciting opportunity to provide logistics and administrative support to assist in operating and maintaining the SNS national stockpiled inventory. In this mission, we assist in ensuring the SNS inventory is ready for deployment, providing the ability to respond 24 x 7 in an emergency. The successful candidate will serve as the Supply Chain Systems Analyst in the Logistics Office.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and at least 1-2 years of related experience (four additional years of experience may be substituted for a degree)
  • Knowledge of and experience supporting Oracle Business Intelligence, supply chain operations, and Oracle E-Business Suite system and ERP implementations.
  • Must be able to identify and draft inventory management system changes and updates.
  • Must have experience implementing test scripts.
  • Must have experience developing and updating reports for users.
  • Must know how to read, write, and update SQL for reporting.
  • Required to be on-call 24 hours/7 days a week.
  • Must be able to respond to mission alerts within 15 minutes, with a recall of 90 minutes to report to the designated location.
  • Must carry a cell phone at all times.
  • Must have the ability to work and handle requests from multiple groups/organizations.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and scope with occasional periods of stress when dealing with critical situations.
  • Possesses excellent English language skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Demonstrates strong customer relations capabilities to achieve customer satisfaction with SNS services.
  • Experience working in a call center environment where teamwork was an essential element of service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and draft inventory management system changes and updates.
  • Create implementation test scripts.
  • Develop and update reports for users.
  • Manage & provide systems support for the inventory management system Projects.
  • Serve as the functional and technical expert for: Systems planning, implementation, and sustainment for business enhancement Oracle System Utilization Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) planning and implementation Inventory Reports
  • Maintain inventory management system set-ups for Item Master, Bill of Material (BOM), Routings, Sub-inventories, Locators, etc.
  • Track system performance problems through resolution, testing, correcting, and approving scripts for system enhancements, create testing methods for solving system issues, assign a point of contact for testing additional scripts and system evaluations, update, and enter mass data loads for the inventory management system.
  • Demonstrate an adept understanding of end-to-end business flows and the ability to translate those flows into a system solution for business process mapping.
  • Provide support for the inventory management system responsible for training and evaluating new users.
  • Document and conduct remedial training and provide instruction for new procedures.
