About The Position

The Supply Chain Specialist will be responsible for order processing, data management, customer service, inventory and demand management, sales support, quality and compliance, and performance tracking and reporting. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, with 3-5 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in data entry with Excel and ERP systems (SAP preferred) is essential. The ideal candidate can work independently, make decisions under stress, and identify opportunities to streamline customer service processes. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in a customer service or administrative role
  • Proficiency in data entry with Excel and ERP systems (experience with SAP preferred) for order processing, pricing management, and inventory control.
  • Ability to work independently, make decisions under stress, and identify opportunities to streamline customer service processes.
  • This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship now or anytime in the future. This includes existing student visas and H-1B visas.

Responsibilities

  • Receive and verify customer orders, pricing, freight terms, and credit terms.
  • Enter and manage orders in SAP, ensuring timely and accurate data handling.
  • Act as the company’s representative for customer inquiries about stock levels, shipment schedules, product pricing, and non-technical product support.
  • Collaborate with production planners to set and confirm ship dates for customer orders.
  • Monitor backorders, aged inventory, and release of held lots to fulfill pending orders.
  • Support sales initiatives with price analysis and adjustments.
  • Assist in setting up new customer profiles in ERP, verifying tax statuses, and coordinating credit applications with Accounting.
  • Adhere to ISO9001 / TS16949 / IATF16949 and internal standards by ensuring accurate, up-to-date records and participating in efforts to minimize Customer Complaint Records (CCRs).
  • Monitor and report on performance indicators including order accuracy, on-time shipment rates, and compliance with ISO procedures.
