About The Position

We are looking for a Supply Chain Specialist to support our SJE Rhombus brand. This role will work out of our New Hope, MN location. As our Supply Chain Specialist, you will support our embedded systems manufacturing operations. You will play a key part in ensuring materials are available when needed, systems are accurate, and production schedules stay on track. You’ll serve as a vital link between suppliers, operations, and internal stakeholders, helping to keep our supply chain running smoothly and efficiently. Your primary role is maintaining continuity of supply. You will regularly review safety stock levels, supplier lead times, and minimum order quantities to ensure materials are available without creating excess inventory. You will also support maintenance and production teams with MRO purchasing needs and maintain accurate data within the ERP system, including item setup, supplier details, and pricing. You will partner with Operations to assess and manage inventory levels, supporting sourcing efforts for new and replacement components, and coordinating the return of nonconforming materials to suppliers. You will contribute to supplier performance tracking and help drive continuous improvement by ensuring processes align with quality standards and business needs.

Requirements

  • Clear communication skills
  • Supply Chain, Purchasing, or Materials Planning experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience using ERP systems
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
  • A 2-year degree in Supply Chain or equivalent degree
  • 1-2 years of experience

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with embedded products is a bonus.

Responsibilities
