About The Position
Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for an Experienced Supply Chain Specialist to join their team. This role involves tracking and monitoring supplier performance, analyzing supplier and/or customer data, managing supplier relationships to ensure delivery, quality, financial stability, and in-service performance. The specialist will act as a point of escalation for supplier issues, engage stakeholders to integrate program, customer, and vendor aspects, and mitigate risks and issues.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Procurement and Supply Chain processes
- 3+ years of experience in Vendor Account Management
- 3+ years of experience with Supplier Management and Order Management
- Ability to travel 10-20% of the time
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Experience in a role requiring strategic planning (project/program management)
Responsibilities
- Tracks and monitors supplier performance.
- Assists in the analysis of supplier and/or customer data regarding products or services to include repair capabilities, capacity and performance.
- Manages performance and relationship to ensure delivery, quality, financial stability, and in-service.
- Acts as point of escalation for any supplier issues and/or performance issues.
- Engage stakeholders to ensure that program, customer, and vendor are integrated.
- Mitigates risks and issues.
