About The Position

The Boeing Company is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist (Level 3 or 4) to join the Aircraft on Ground Incident Repair (AOG) team within Boeing Global Services (BGS) in Everett, Washington or Renton, Washington. This role involves assessing and analyzing demand for AOG IR, reviewing and deciphering engineering data for alternate problem resolution, and acting as a liaison with multiple stakeholders to accomplish common objectives. The specialist will delegate tasks to manage workload, engage in cross-functional communications to deliver concise and timely results, and support suppliers by identifying constraints and assisting with mitigation plans. The position requires the ability to manage multiple concurrent deadlines and assist in the collection and processing of supplier and/or customer data regarding products or services, including repair capabilities and capacity. Adaptability in a fast-changing and high-stress work environment is essential.

Requirements

5+ years of experience in Material Management or Supply Chain Experience
5+ years of experience in identifying and communicating business requirements with cross-functional and/or cross-business teams
5+ years of experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office Products such as Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
5+ years of experience applying effective verbal and written communications skills including spelling, grammar, punctuation, form and style, proof reading and editing skills
Must be available to work variable shifts, including weekends and overtime

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent related work or military experience
10+ years of experience in Material Management or Supply Chain Experience (for Level 4)
Must have high attention to detail, be a self-starter, and results driven
Experience in aerospace support, supply chain management, & logistics planning
Experience with ERP and CRM systems, such as SAP and/or Salesforce
Basic proficiency in aerospace industry knowledge
Creative problem solving skills
Basic technical and engineering background
Previous experience working urgent requirements with BGS Organization
Experience implementing process improvements and an applied understanding of LEAN practices (e.g. Six Sigma)
