About The Position

AlgaeCal is looking for a Supply Chain Specialist to join their Vancouver-based supply chain team. This role involves managing end-to-end supply chain operations, including manufacturing, procurement, inventory, and shipping. The ideal candidate will be adept at identifying and resolving supply chain slowdowns, balancing inventory, holding suppliers accountable, and controlling costs. This position requires a strong understanding of data accuracy, clear systems, and consistent follow-through across various supply chain functions.

Requirements

• At least three years of experience managing end-to-end supply chain operations, including manufacturing, procurement, inventory, and shipping.
• A strong track record of building and improving supply chain processes across multiple distribution channels.
• Experience gathering quotes, negotiating supplier terms, issuing purchase orders, verifying invoices, and managing supplier performance.
• Experience using forecasting tools and inventory audits to prevent stockouts, overstocks, and delays.
• The ability to plan purchase orders while balancing inventory targets, cash flow, and budget requirements.
• Experience managing inventory across Amazon FBA and other e-commerce platforms.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret shipment, inventory, and fulfillment data.
• Experience identifying bottlenecks and implementing practical process improvements.
• Experience creating SOPs and training team members on new systems and workflows.
• A good working knowledge of Lean methodologies.
• Experience with ERP or MRP systems.
• A resume that demonstrates measurable improvements in supply chain performance.
