About The Position

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for an Associate Supply Chain Specialist to join our team in Seal Beach, CA. This role involves coordinating activities to facilitate the quick return to service for emergent customer requirements, such as Aircraft On Ground (AOG) situations. The specialist will enter, track, monitor, and coordinate customer material and delivery requirements for emergent escalations, advise customers on order status and changes, and act as a liaison between internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues supporting customers with hard-grounded aircraft. The role also includes reviewing engineering data for alternate problem resolution, supporting suppliers by identifying constraints and assisting with mitigation plans, and collecting/processing supplier and customer data related to repair capabilities and capacity. The specialist will analyze customer escalations, formulate problem resolutions, and utilize multiple Boeing systems in a fast-paced, high-stress environment, adapting to changing conditions and managing multiple concurrent deadlines. Requirements

1+ years of experience working in Supply Chain
Must be able to work any shift
Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems
Able to work both independently and also in a collaborative team environment
Able to work in fast paced environment while being able to meet strict deadlines.

Nice To Haves

Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience

Responsibilities

Coordinate the activities required to facilitate the quick return to service for emergent customer requirements (e.g. AOG)
Enter, track, monitor and coordinate customer material, delivery requirements for emergent escalations
Advise customers regarding order status, changes or improvements on AOG Hard Grounded requirements
Act as a liaison communicating with internal and external stakeholders to identify and drive a solution to support customer hard grounded aircraft situation.
Review and decipher engineering data for alternate problem resolution
Support suppliers by identifying constraints and assisting with mitigation plan
Assist in the collection and processing of supplier and/or customer data regarding products or services to include repair capabilities and capacity
Act as a liaison with multiple stakeholders to accomplish a common objective
Assess and analyze customer escalations and formulate problem resolutions
Uses multiple Boeing systems in a fast-paced environment for AOG Hard grounded requirements.
Able to adapt in a fast-changing and high-stress work environment.
Ability to manage multiple concurrent deadlines
Must be self-driven and able to ask questions in a team environment.
