About The Position

The Supply Chain Specialist II is the Marketplace Supply Chain business owner for one Nike Marketplace Partners account, responsible for maintaining a healthy orderbook and driving optimal delivery performance. The role manages day-to-day supply chain operations, works closely with Transportation and Distribution Center teams, delivers seasonal plans, and meets financial objectives. It collaborates with and influences internal and external supply chain and commercial teams to optimize the orderbook and deliver market-competitive speed across orders. The work takes place in a fast-paced, matrixed, sometimes ambiguous environment, and includes peer mentoring and training. This posting covers roles across the City Specialty, Golf Specialty, and Soccer Specialty teams. The position works closely with a Supply Chain Specialist I and Business Analyst and cross-functionally with Logistics & Transportation partners, Sales partners, and account stakeholders. It reports to the Marketplace Supply Chain Manager in North America MSC.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Supply Chain, Operations, or a related field; suitable combinations of education, experience, and training will be accepted.
At least 2 years of experience in supply chain, operations, process improvement, or strategic communication.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, and proactive skills.
Ability to analyze and influence using data, and to tell stories with data.
Experience with SAP, Excel, and Tableau.
Ability to challenge the status quo and develop short- and long-term supply chain strategies supporting continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Own supply chain operations for one Nike Marketplace Partners account.
Manage the day-to-day supply chain operation and work with Transportation and Distribution Center teams.
Deliver seasonal plans and meet financial objectives.
Build expertise in Partners’ business requirements, routing guides, vendor agreements, and supply chain capabilities.
Conduct operational calls, orderbook audits, and order-writing workshops to influence Partner order-writing behavior and maximize supply chain efficiencies.
Work across NMP teams to develop, leverage, and streamline best practices.
Monitor key KPIs with the Business Analyst on ship-goal forecasts, and escalate risks, opportunities, and recommendations.
Provide insights to Ship to Plan processes by collaborating with internal logistics and commercial teams and external supply chain teams.
Drive standard reporting for in-season order tracking and forward-looking visibility to support on-time delivery and efficient supply chain flow.
Collaborate with and influence cross-functional internal and external supply chain and commercial teams to optimize the orderbook.
Provide peer mentoring and training.
