About The Position

CJ Logistics America is seeking a Supply Chain Solutions Analyst to join our engineering and solutions team. In this role, you will lead data mining and analytics to uncover key operational and customer opportunities aimed at improving margins, reducing costs, and delivering creative, dynamic logistics solutions. You will collaborate cross-functionally to collect, analyze, and present high-impact projects to internal and external stakeholders. This role offers a hybrid work model, allowing you to work from our Des Plaines, IL corporate office 4 days per week with flexibility built around business needs. CJ Logistics delivers integrated and multimodal logistics services, connecting every corner of the world via air, sea, and land. As a lead logistics partner (LLP), third-party logistics provider (3PL), and supply chain consultant, we help customers leverage supply chain management as a competitive advantage, reducing total system costs, transforming business processes, improving service, and facilitating growth and change. CJ Logistics is responsible for the North region, specializing in solutions for regulated industries such as food and beverage, consumer-packaged goods, healthcare and medical supplies, and tire and automotive.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required (preferably in Economics, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field).
  • 1+ years of job-relevant experience or related logistics internships.
  • Practical experience in managing, executing, and implementing project workflows.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, alongside solid skills in Microsoft Access and PowerPoint.
  • Detail-oriented thinker with proven creative problem-solving skills and the ability to gather and analyze information skillfully.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills with comfort presenting technical analysis.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Tableau and OptiLogic is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Compile supply chain data, build operational tools, and evaluate metrics to drive network optimizations.
  • Compile and analyze customer supply chain data using static/dynamic tools, mapping software, spreadsheets, and databases.
  • Research "Best in Class" supply chain practices and apply them to develop innovative operational tools and customer solutions.
  • Develop and evaluate key performance metrics to ensure optimal cost, service, and network performance in partnership with internal and external customers.
  • Coordinate and implement warehouse, transportation, and supply chain consulting projects from concept through execution.
  • Partner with Business Development, Strategic Partnerships, Engineering, Finance, Business Process Integration, and Operations teams.
  • Communicate and present tailored supply chain solutions and performance improvements to internal leaders and clients.
  • Support supply chain and transportation modeling projects utilizing specialized tools like LogicTools and i2.
