About The Position

As a defense mission professional, you ask questions others don’t. You understand the nuances of complex situations. You use your skills to think bigger and push further, solving complex problems. We’re looking for an expert like you to create solutions for missions that keep our nation safe. As a Supply Chain Risk Management Team Lead, you’ll bring your analytical skills and staff officer expertise to work on projects for a major Department of War staff element. You’ll analyze cybersecurity supply chain risks and develop briefings and memorandums to effectuate senior leader decision-making on critical national security issues. You’ll be a trusted advisor to our clients, interface directly with senior leaders and we’ll look to you to identify, analyze, and evaluate complex systems, policies, processes, related to supply chain risks to weapon systems, critical infrastructure, and priority missions. You’ll guide the work we do for the Department of War and the solutions we deliver for defense planning and national security. Requirements

  • Experience serving senior DoD leaders and interacting with interagency partners
  • Experience leading teams to meet timelines and deliverables
  • Experience coordinating and leading meetings, both pre-planned and short notice
  • Experience with U.S. government acquisition regulations, policies, and processes
  • Experience with Cyber Supply Chain Risk Management
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity concerns across various technologies such as AI, cloud, and ICS
  • Ability to be a team player and work well in a fast-paced environment with a team of engineers, defense and intelligence analysts, scientists, and uniformed military members
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • HS diploma or GED and 7+ years of experience as a data scientist, Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of experience as a data scientist, or Master's degree and 5+ years of experience as a data scientist

  • Experience leading, coordinating, and tracking taskers from receipt to closure
  • Experience drafting decision memos, executive summaries, information papers, and Congressional responses
  • Experience with analysis of cybersecurity, mission assurance, or systems engineering
  • Experience working across stakeholder groups to achieve a common goal
  • Experience writing documents, including congressional reports, talking points, read-aheads, and communications strategies
  • Experience with risk management principles
  • Knowledge of cyber supply chain risk management governance such as NISTSP 800-161, NIST SP 800 -171, NIST SP 800-53, and bill of materials
  • Knowledge of software development trends and technologies
  • Knowledge of the Defense Industrial Base and the federal procurement process
