About The Position

The Supply Chain Promotions Planner is responsible for ensuring the end-to-end communication and execution of all promotions, meeting key metrics such as customer fill rate, premium freight, and order change rates. This role involves managing supplier performance to enhance overall supply chain and logistics efficiency, resolving chronic issues, and collaborating with key partners for consistent forecast inputs and successful promotion execution. The planner will coordinate with supply chain partners to strategize inventory fulfillment, confirm sufficient inventory supply with suppliers, and track purchase orders. Additionally, the role requires gathering and reviewing new product information, managing product changes and transitions, and planning for proper inventory levels. Maintaining product master data and vendor information, along with analyzing data to determine the best course of action, are also key responsibilities. The planner will also work on assigned projects supporting existing customers, new business development, or process improvement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and 3 to 4 plus years of related experience
  • High School Diploma/General Education Degree (GED) and 7 plus years of specific experience

Responsibilities

  • Ensure end-to-end communication and execution of all promotions, meeting metrics such as customer fill rate, premium freight, and order change rates
  • Manage supplier performance to enhance overall supply chain and logistics efficiency, resolve chronic issues like lead time and fill rate, and collaborate with key partners for consistent forecast inputs and successful promotion execution
  • Coordinate with supply chain partners to strategize inventory fulfillment, confirm sufficient inventory supply with suppliers, and track purchase orders from supplier to receipt at the distribution center
  • Gather and review new product information for internal departments, ensure accurate product changes, manage item transitions, and plan for proper inventory levels
  • Maintain product master data and vendor information while analyzing and interpreting multiple data sources and reports to determine the best course of action
  • Work on projects assigned to support existing customers, new business development, or process improvement
  • Other duties as assigned
