Northrop Grumman Mission System (NGMS) AMS Division is seeking a qualified and motivated professional for the role of Supply Chain Planning Specialist supporting Multi-Role Electronically Scanned Array (MESA) within the Advanced Battle Management (ABM) Operating Unit in Linthicum, MD.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in Business, Finance, Supply Chain Management
  • U.S. Citizenship
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Security Clearance

Nice To Haves

  • Professional experience in a regulated industry to include Aerospace & Defense or Financial Services
  • SAP experience
  • Experience with MRP/ERP systems, financial systems, FAR, DFAR and ITAR
  • Experience with CAM or Earned Value Management principles
  • Experience with multiple contracting formats, including Firm Fixed Price and/or Cost Reimbursable
  • Experience with terms and conditions, and/or special contract clauses/types such as: long term agreements and intellectual property agreements
  • Negotiation experience
  • Active Secret Security Clearance

Responsibilities

  • Monitoring and addressing supplier issues to maintain program schedule
  • Managing on time req release, PO placements, and PO delivery dates to maintain program schedule
  • Analyzing lead times and identifying critical path procurements
  • Interfacing/collaborating with other functions of the program team including but not limited to contracts, finance, engineering, operations, quality, scheduling, etc.
  • Supporting the CAM with program GSC financial activities
  • Maintaining a strong business acumen and ability to operate in a fast-paced production environment
