The Supply Chain Planning & Performance Supervisor is responsible for leading supply chain planning, analytics, performance management, and business intelligence initiatives across strategic sourcing, category management, procurement, inventory management, warehousing, logistics, and supplier performance functions. This role serves as the Supply Chain organization's primary analytical leader, transforming operational and business data into actionable insights that drive improved performance, cost optimization, inventory efficiency, and service reliability. The successful candidate will support the Supply Chain teams both in Gramercy and Jamaica and leads the development and management of key performance metrics, predictive analytics, reporting systems, dashboards, forecasting models, and continuous improvement initiatives that support both daily operations and long-term strategic planning. This position requires a highly analytical professional capable of influencing decision-making through data-driven recommendations and cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, or a related discipline required.
  • Minimum 5-8 years of progressive experience in supply chain planning, analytics, procurement, inventory management, or operations.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel and financial modeling capabilities.
  • Advanced Power BI development and dashboard design experience.
  • Strong understanding of ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards, or equivalent).
  • Experience with SQL, database querying, AI, and data analysis tools.
  • Knowledge of inventory optimization methodologies and forecasting techniques.
  • Ability to analyze large datasets and communicate insights effectively.
  • Strong presentation and executive reporting skills.
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret information.
  • Ability to write reports and basics business correspondence.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups, managers, clients, customers and the general public.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's Degree preferred.
  • APICS/ASCM, CSCP, CPIM, Six Sigma, or related professional certification preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
  • Experience in manufacturing, refining, mining, chemical processing, heavy industry, or industrial operations are strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success developing and implementing supply chain metrics, dashboards, forecasting models, and performance reporting systems.
  • Experience using AI-enabled tools to improve sourcing, spend analytics, supplier market intelligence, process efficiency, negotiations and data-driven decision-making.
  • Alumina refining experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development, implementation, and continuous enhancement of supply chain analytics, performance reporting, and business intelligence capabilities.
  • Design, build, and maintain Power BI dashboards, scorecards, and executive reports that provide visibility into supply chain performance.
  • Analyze operational data to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Conduct root-cause analysis and develop corrective action plans for performance gaps.
  • Present analytical findings and recommendations to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Develop predictive models and scenario analyses to support operational and strategic decision-making.
  • Lead inventory planning and optimization efforts to balance service requirements with working capital objectives.
  • Support demand planning, replenishment planning, and material requirements planning activities.
  • Monitor critical inventory levels and identify supply risks that could impact refinery operations.
  • Develop forecasting methodologies for maintenance, operations, and capital project materials.
  • Support the annual budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning processes through detailed analytics.
  • Participate in Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and Integrated Business Planning initiatives as applicable.
  • Support the development and execution of strategic sourcing initiatives that align with ATALCO's operational, financial, and supply chain objectives.
  • Partner with Supply Chain leadership to develop category management strategies for Maintenance, Repair and Operations (MRO), Capital Projects, Services, Chemicals, Equipment, and other key spend categories.
  • Conduct spend analysis to identify sourcing opportunities, supplier consolidation initiatives, and cost reduction strategies.
  • Evaluate supplier markets, industry trends, and supply risks to support sourcing decisions and long-term category strategies.
  • Develop sourcing analytics and business cases to support supplier selection, contract negotiations, and award recommendations.
  • Collaborate with Procurement teams to establish category-specific performance metrics, savings targets, and supplier development plans.
  • Monitor contract compliance, supplier utilization, and sourcing performance to ensure realization of negotiated value.
  • Provide analytical support for Requests for Proposal (RFPs), Requests for Quotation (RFQs), bid evaluations, and supplier assessments.
  • Maintain supplier scorecards and support quarterly business reviews with key suppliers.
  • Identify and quantify total cost of ownership (TCO) opportunities across sourcing categories.
  • Develop reports and dashboards that provide visibility into spend management, sourcing pipeline activity, savings performance, supplier performance, and contract effectiveness.
  • Analyze procurement trends and purchasing patterns to improve forecasting, budgeting, and sourcing effectiveness.
  • Support development of annual procurement savings targets and tracking mechanisms to ensure achievement of business objectives.
