About The Position

The NIKE, Inc. Global Supply Chain team is the engine that propels product around the world. Our Supply Chain experts ensure that every year, almost a billion units of footwear, apparel and equipment arrive at the right place, at the right time. We plan, make, and position products to deliver on our athlete promise on a global scale. We strive towards a more responsive, resilient, and responsible supply chain to drive efficiencies and support the rapid evolution and growth of our marketplace and consumers. Our Supply Chain Planning team is looking for a graduate student who is curious about how consumer demand, marketplace strategies and product plans come together to shape an integrated operating plan. You bring strong analytical thinking, business judgment and an ability to turn complex data into clear insights and recommended actions. You are a collaborative problem solver who can work through ambiguity, build productive relationships and communicate with impact.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an MBA or relevant graduate degree program with an expected graduation date of December 2027 or Spring 2028.
  • Academic or professional background in Supply Chain, Operations, Planning, Finance, Analytics, Business, Economics, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years work experience strongly preferred

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to build hypotheses, evaluate trade-offs and translate insights into action.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally, influence partners and build relationships across multiple teams and levels.
  • Comfort working through ambiguity with curiosity, sound judgment and a bias for action.
  • Strong written, verbal and visual communication skills, with the ability to tell a compelling story using data.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, lookups, pivot tables and data analysis.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with forecasting, business planning, demand planning, inventory planning or financial planning is preferred.
  • Understanding of retail or supply chain metrics such as sales, sell-through, weeks of supply, inventory, revenue and margin is preferred.
  • Experience with data visualization or analytical tools is a plus.
  • Knowledge of consumers, competitors, retail trends or the sports apparel and footwear marketplace is a plus.
  • A growth mindset and process-oriented approach, with strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Support demand, sales, receipt and inventory planning across a portfolio of marketplace partners, sports or product areas.
  • Analyze consumer, marketplace, financial and inventory data to identify trends, risks, opportunities and planning trade-offs.
  • Help connect top-down financial targets with bottoms-up product and inventory plans across pre-season and in-season timeframes.
  • Support recurring planning processes and the reconciliation of operational, assortment and marketplace plans.
  • Build forecasts, scenarios, dashboards or decision frameworks that improve visibility and enable timely action.
  • Synthesize findings into clear recommendations and communicate decision impacts to cross-functional partners and leaders.
  • Contribute to tools, playbooks or process improvements that strengthen planning consistency, accuracy and connectivity.
