Our team solves tough, meaningful problems that create a safer, more secure world. The Supply Chain Planning Data & Systems Transformation Lead plays a critical role in modernizing the digital backbone of our planning-to-execution lifecycle. This role sits at the intersection of supply chain planning, data architecture, and enterprise systems, ensuring seamless integration across planning platforms to generate a stable and executable Master Production Schedule (MPS). The primary objective of this role is to automate supply planning transactions, reducing manual system work and enabling supply planners to focus on higher-value activities such as upstream issue identification and resolution. This role requires a technically strong leader who can both personally develop automation solutions (e.g., scripting) and lead BOT/RPA automation initiatives at scale. You will drive improvements in data integrity, system connectivity, and planning logic, enabling high-quality MRP signals and efficient requisition flow to procurement and manufacturing. This position will be hybrid from either McKinney, TX, Andover, MA or Tucson, AZ. Relocation assistance is not provided.

Requirements

  • Typically requires a university degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in supply chain planning, data, systems, or digital transformation roles, and hands-on experience with MRP, planning, and data visualization/analytics tools (e.g., SAP, Kinaxis Power BI, Tableau).
  • Experience with automation, scripting, or data engineering concepts, and knowledge of how planning systems integrate to generate MPS and drive MRP/requisition outputs.
  • U.S. Citizen - U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

Nice To Haves

  • Proven experience working with end-to-end supply chain data structures (BOMs, routings, lead times, inventory, demand, capacity), and diagnosing and resolving data and system issues that impact planning accuracy and execution.
  • Analytical and problem-solving experience with the ability to interpret complex system interactions, and leading cross-functional data or systems transformation initiatives.
  • Experience designing or implementing integrated planning system architectures.
  • Background in aerospace, defense, or complex manufacturing environments.
  • Experience with data governance frameworks and master data management and knowledge of MPS, MRP logic, and planning parameter optimization.
  • PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or similar certification and experience with CORE/Kaizen principles.
  • Experience working in Integrated Business Planning (IBP) environments.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end data and systems transformation initiatives to enable an accurate, stable MPS by partnering cross-functionally with IBP, Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing, and IT
  • Drive automation of supply planning transactions, leveraging scripting and BOT/RPA solutions to reduce manual intervention/effort and improve planning cycle efficiency
  • Design, build, or lead development of automation tools and bots that streamline planning system workflows
  • Own integration and alignment across planning platforms in order to support transformation initiatives (SAP/PRISM, Kinaxis RapidResponse, APL, RPlan, OSC Life, etc)
  • Analyze & Optimize system interactions driving MRP outputs and requisition signals
  • Identify and eliminate root causes of planning instability (reschedules, cancellations, shortages, excess)
  • Define and implement standardized data models and governance frameworks as needed
  • Lead system enhancements including configuration, testing, and deployment
  • Enable advanced analytics, simulation, and scenario modeling
  • Translate complex system behavior into clear, actionable business insights
  • Establish alignment on system usage, data standards, and planning logic
  • Travel – ~15% (higher during early phases of transformation initiatives)
