Requirements

  • University degree or college diploma in Supply Chain or related field
  • Up to 1 year of experience in a similar role
  • Experience in demand and supply planning, S&OP facilitation and implementation, ideally in food & beverage manufacturing environment
  • Demonstrated success in problem solving, and prioritizing demand planning strategic initiatives
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to influence stakeholders at different levels
  • Financial acumen and proven analytical and process skills
  • Proficient computer skills with a focus on Excel (Microsoft Suite of Applications, Dynamics AX)
  • Strong skills in organization, time management, and the ability to meet deadlines while handling multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Good interpersonal skills to interact with all levels of management
  • Excellent leadership, team building, and management skills to encourage and mentor staff
  • Successful candidates will be required to provide photo ID, banking details, a valid SIN number, and (if applicable) a valid work permit

Responsibilities

  • Place purchase orders as required based on demand and reschedule and expedite as demand changes.
  • Monitor and manage vendor production schedules, capacity, and production plans to proactively identify risks to on-time delivery and mitigate over-capacity issues.
  • Manage multiple expectations while collaborating with cross functional teams.
  • Foster new and existing business relationships by having a thorough understanding of customers’ needs.
  • Manage planning and purchasing by using MRP functionality.
  • Ensure production teams consistently have sufficient ingredients, equipment, and components to process operations smoothly.
  • Maintain dashboards and coordinate with suppliers daily to secure products, discuss product orders updates, changes in delivery, etc.
  • Observe all safety rules and promote a safe working environment with team members.
  • Maintain strict GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices).
  • Compliance with all rules & policies regarding health safety, occupational safety, environmental safety, food safety, legal regulations, company requirements, etc.
  • Compliance with the Company's Integrated Management Systems which includes, but is not limited to Production, Quality, Food Safety & GMP.
  • Other duties as assigned.
