About The Position

SPTS (Specialty Printing and Technology Solutions) is an exciting and dynamic organization focused on developing products and technologies for OEM partners that deliver winning products into the marketplace. The SPTS R&D lab develops technologies to support printhead, inks, writing systems, system enablement hardware and proto-typing hardware tools. SPTS develops ink and writing systems for various market segments including coding and marking industrial applications, mail addressing and postage. This area of focus is a growing market for the SPTS business.

Requirements

  • Four-year or Graduate Degree in Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations management, Business Administration, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience.
  • Typically has 4-7 years of work experience, preferably in supply chain, operations, or a related field or an advanced degree with 3-5 years of work experience

Responsibilities

  • Manages a broad range of moderately complex supply chain processes, such as inventory analysis and planning, demand management, logistics management, and import/export operations, typically for a large global business unit.
  • Executes basic demand and supply matching activities, connecting planning to execution, and identifying issues and their impact.
  • Gathers demand data from country, region and account managers to synthesize information and delivers demand signals to the supply base to contribute to demand forecasting.
  • Coordinates or leads regional and global business unit planning teams to maintain and enhance the current business processes.
  • Monitors key metrics, creates relevant reporting metrics, and reviews information for continuous improvement.
  • Contributes to priority projects with complex analysis and assists in developing recommendations.
  • Communicates requirements and guidelines to the global business unit planning teams.
  • Coordinates, develops, and manages a regulatory trade compliance program.
