Responsibilities

  • Own and improve end-to-end tactical supply plans for NPI builds, production builds, and/or off-nominal builds.
  • Translate engineering demand, build schedules, and program milestones into executable material requirements in ERP/MRP systems.
  • Optimize factory planning parameters, including lead times, lot sizes, safety stock, planning fences, and reorder strategies.
  • Manage BOM maturity and change execution, assess the material impact of ECOs, manage cut-ins and cut-outs, and minimize excess and obsolete exposure.
  • Identify and mitigate material-readiness risks related to design instability, supplier capacity, long-lead components, and quality performance.
  • Maintain accurate master data, including BOMs, routings, planning attributes, and supplier parameters.
  • Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Procurement to align supply execution with build plans, capacity constraints, and program priorities.
  • Establish and monitor material-readiness metrics, including shortage tracking, kit completeness, on-time-to-build, supplier OTD, and inventory health.
  • Lead shortage resolution and recovery management, including root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and supplier coordination.
  • Develop and implement supply-planning processes, workflows, and system utilization to improve repeatability, scalability, and factory throughput.
