The operator effectively utilizes the Warehouse Management System (WMS) for receiving, putaway, and picking product, validating item, location, and quantity. They troubleshoot discrepancies and report unresolved issues to leadership. The role involves operating robotic goods-to-person picking and conveyor automation safely and efficiently, ensuring orders are filled timely and accurately. The operator inspects products for damage, expiration, and proper packaging, and performs cycle counts and physical inventories accurately and efficiently. They report maintenance concerns promptly and may handle highly confidential documents, being responsible for record retrieval and storage. Ensuring cleanliness is constantly maintained is also a key part of the role. The operator facilitates stocking replenishment activity and reports any discrepancies. They operate material handling equipment, including motorized reach trucks, order pickers, and walkie riders. Some assignments may require light mechanical troubleshooting or preventative maintenance on conveyor and robotics systems. Certification on multiple pieces of equipment is required.
