About The Position

This role facilitates inbound delivery inspections, ensuring meticulous attention to detail. The operator loads and unloads semi-trailer and box truck deliveries, refusing any damaged or unidentifiable shipments. They report any suspicious packages to Inventory Control and ensure inbound deliveries match company purchase orders. The position verifies product origination location to meet accreditation requirements. The operator effectively utilizes the Warehouse Management System (WMS) for receiving, putaway, and picking product, validating item, location, and quantity. They troubleshoot discrepancies and report unresolved issues to leadership. The role involves operating robotic goods-to-person picking and conveyor automation safely and efficiently, ensuring orders are filled timely and accurately. The operator inspects products for damage, expiration, and proper packaging, and performs cycle counts and physical inventories accurately and efficiently. They report maintenance concerns promptly and may handle highly confidential documents, being responsible for record retrieval and storage. Ensuring cleanliness is constantly maintained is also a key part of the role. The operator facilitates stocking replenishment activity and reports any discrepancies. They operate material handling equipment, including motorized reach trucks, order pickers, and walkie riders. Some assignments may require light mechanical troubleshooting or preventative maintenance on conveyor and robotics systems. Certification on multiple pieces of equipment is required.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED or equivalent years of experience is required.
  • Requires 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Requires Material Handling Certification.
  • Must be proficient in National Association of Boards of Pharmacy rules and regulations.
  • Requires standing 100% of the time and up to 90% spent walking.
  • Requires long periods of standing, walking, pushing, pulling, squatting, bending and reaching.
  • Requires the ability to lift 50 pounds from floor to waist: lift up to 20 pounds from waist to head.
  • Requires the ability to push or pull pallets utilizing manual pallet jacks weighing in excess of 800 pounds.
  • Requires mandatory overtime on heavy days.
  • May require on-call rotation, weekend coverage, and operating a company vehicle.
  • 2+ years of Forklift experience (including experience on a reach truck and pallet jack)
  • Picking experience
