About The Position

Responsible for designing, modeling, and optimizing end‑to‑end supply chain networks to achieve the lowest landed cost while meeting service, capacity, and operational constraints. Leverages advanced optimization and analytical tools to support both strategic and tactical decisions related to network design, capacity planning, throughput analysis, and transportation mode selection. Plays a critical role in enabling data‑driven decisions that enhance cost efficiency, resilience, and scalability across the supply chain.

Requirements

  • Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline.
  • Generally 8+ years of experience in a related field OR MS/MA and generally 5+ years of experience in a related field.
  • Certification is required in some areas.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 5–10 years of progressive supply chain experience (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Knowledge of landed cost modeling and supply chain network optimization.
  • Experience supporting M&A activity, network rationalization, or large‑scale transformation initiatives.
  • Proficiency with data and analytics tools such as SQL, Python, R, and advanced Excel.
  • Hands-on experience with supply chain modeling and optimization software (e.g., Optilogic, LLamasoft/Coupa, o9, AnyLogic, AIMMS)
  • Strong background in capacity planning, throughput analysis, and transportation network design.
  • Ability to translate complex analytical models into practical, business‑ready decisions.
  • Advanced analytical skills, including data manipulation, scenario modeling, and sensitivity analysis.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

  • Leads the development and execution of supply chain network models using optimization software to evaluate and recommend lowest landed cost solutions.
  • Designs and analyzes network scenarios, including facility location, distribution flows, sourcing strategies, and transportation options.
  • Conducts throughput analysis to identify bottlenecks, constraints, and improvement opportunities across supply chain nodes and transportation lanes.
  • Partners closely with Distribution Operations, Transportation, Purchasing, Finance, and Strategy teams to translate analytical insights into executable recommendations.
  • Owns capacity planning models across warehousing, and transportation to ensure alignment with demand forecasts and growth strategies.
  • Develops standardized methodologies, tools, and data models to support network planning and optimization.
  • Communicates complex analytical findings clearly to executive and cross‑functional stakeholders, including scenario assumptions, risks, and trade‑offs.
  • Supports long-range planning, capital investment decisions, and major initiatives.

Benefits

  • Eligible candidates residing in the greater Atlanta area will be asked to work two days a week in our Doraville, GA Field Support Center.
