About The Position

The Supply Chain Mgr III position at Amazon.com Services LLC involves facilitating supply chain analysis to identify and recommend improvement opportunities for both new and existing processes. This role requires scaling processes to standard methodologies across businesses and leading alignment across organizations. Key responsibilities include identifying and driving operational improvements by proposing network-wide solutions that enhance the health of the supply chain. The manager will also work with external suppliers, navigating, resolving, and mitigating risks where possible. The role demands the ability to influence, drive, innovate, and develop solutions to build and solve problems within supply chains.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Transportation, Logistics, or related field and two years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
  • Employer will accept a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, Transportation, Logistics, or related field and five years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or a related occupation as equivalent to the Master’s degree and two years of experience.
  • Must have one year of experience in working in program management, logistics, operations, supply chain, or transportation fields.
  • Must have one year of experience in leading cross-functional supply-chain/logistics programs.
  • Must have one year of experience in working on and leading the design, implementation, and optimization of supply chain initiatives.
  • Must have one year of experience in data mining and data analysis.
  • Must have one year of experience in using Microsoft Excel including pivot tables, macros, index/match, vlookup, VBA, and data links.
  • Must have one year of experience with analytical tools including SQL, Tableau, or Microsoft Access.
  • Domestic travel up to 50% to perform role responsibilities may be required.
