Meijer offers an 11-week internship program that challenges interns to deliver innovative solutions to real projects that impact the business. Throughout the course of the internship experience, we deliver diverse personal and professional development opportunities that further develop skillsets that can be implemented both during and after the program. The internship program will allow for interaction with other interns and Meijer senior leaders. The internship program includes: Challenging and impactful projects, Final presentations delivered to senior executives, Executive speaker series, Professional development and training opportunities, Networking and community events, Events highlighting key areas of the business. This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience across Meijer’s Supply Chain organization and may lead to consideration for future full-time opportunities, including the Meijer Supply Chain Rotational Program. As an intern with Meijer Continuous Quality Improvement, or MCQI, you will work on projects focused on improving operational performance, supporting cross-functional initiatives, and identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency throughout the supply chain. Interns will apply data analysis, structured problem solving, and project-management practices to evaluate business processes, engage stakeholders, and develop actionable recommendations that improve service, productivity, cost, safety, or team member experience. Because project needs vary from year to year, assignments may involve distribution operations, automation, material flow, process standardization, reporting, capital planning, or other continuous-improvement opportunities.
