About The Position

As a Supply Chain Manager at dnata Catering, you will lead end-to-end supply chain operations across procurement, inventory management, vendor performance, and logistics coordination. This role is responsible for ensuring the seamless flow of goods, from sourcing and purchasing through delivery to production; while maintaining cost control, quality standards, and operational efficiency in a fast-paced aviation catering environment. You will play a critical role in aligning supply chain strategy with business needs, supporting high-volume meal production, and ensuring compliance with food safety, regulatory, and airline partner requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 2–3+ years of leadership experience in a high-volume environment
  • Experience in food manufacturing, airline catering, or hospitality strongly preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proven experience managing vendors and controlling costs
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and inventory/ERP systems (Dayforce/iCIMS experience a plus)
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage daily supply chain operations, including procurement, inventory, and logistics coordination
  • Develop and execute supply chain strategies to support operational demand and business growth
  • Oversee vendor relationships, contract performance, and service level agreements (SLAs)
  • Monitor inventory levels, demand planning, and replenishment strategies to minimize waste and shortages
  • Drive cost optimization initiatives while maintaining product quality and service standards
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Culinary, Operations, Finance, and Quality teams
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of purchase orders, deliveries, and receiving transactions
  • Analyze supply chain performance metrics (cost, waste, service levels, supplier performance)
  • Identify risks and implement contingency plans for supply disruptions
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives across procurement and supply chain processes
  • Ensure compliance with HACCP, FDA, USDA, TSA, and company standards
  • Support audits, inspections, and regulatory reporting requirements
  • Lead, coach, and develop procurement and supply chain team members
