Essential Duties and Responsibilities: The primary function of an employee in this class is to lead the Supply Chain Specialist team to manage the demand of a diverse portfolio of inventory, in several warehouses across different states, and manage the internal software application that the supply chain flows through to maintain balance between fulfillment and replenishment needs. Coordinating with Brand Managers, General Managers, Warehouse Management, and Execution Teams to ensure fill rates, inventory turns, and customer needs are meeting goals. When something significant changes in the supply chain, responding to these changes in fierce demand, and solving any supply chain problems that arise. Responsible for managing and leading the Supply Chain Team. Accountable for inventory levels including market fill rate, days of inventory, and impact to cash flow. Confers with accounting team and controller to ensure PO’s are accurate, allowing AP to flow correctly. Works with General Managers to ensure their market demands are being met and transfers to their locations are replenishing correctly. Review and audit with both short- and long-term planning in mind. Considering the relative costs and benefits of potential actions to choose the most appropriate one. Evaluate vendor performance and provide feedback to responsible Brand Managers. Collaborate regularly with Brand Managers regarding assortment and product changes. Work with sales support to ensure pricing, bill-backs and invoices can be processed. Assess supplier profiles and analyze opportunities. Monitor and report on important changes in sales forecasts, budgets, and business strategies. Prepare and submit detailed reports for slow problem inventory, close dated, item review, buying and transportation restraints etc. Manages the recruitment and selection of direct reports by working with HR & Recruiting to prepare recruitment postings, performing applicant screening for desired knowledge, skills and abilities, scheduling and performing candidate interviews using developed interview questions. Overseeing direct reports that have a hybrid work schedule. Validate new item process including setting up sheets, freight allowances, and initial orders with Brand Team. Identifying complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions. Freight company negotiations covering pricing, capacity for transit lanes across the country. Review freight allocation, review and recap of savings/loss. Review and balance inventory levels in all warehouses. Responsible for coordination of product in regard to deliveries and internal transfers. Analytic review of book for profitability of brands and items (review of information by Brand Management team) VIP (item file, Fcast, Iqmini, IDig-sales and ops.) Brand trade execution. Manage inventory and supplier requirements to ensure product standards and storage in warehouse are being met. Effectively communicate with Executive team, Brand Managers, GM’s, Execution Managers, Sales Staff, and Warehouse personnel. Excellent attendance required. Performs regular 1:1s with direct reports, sets goals and KPIs, holding team accountable for results and efficiencies. Must be able to fulfill essential job functions in a consistent state of alertness and safe manner.
