About The Position

Multiquip is looking for a skilled and strategic Supply Chain Manager to lead procurement, planning, and materials operations supporting CE product distribution and manufacturing. This role plays a critical part in ensuring materials availability, maintaining strong supplier relationships, and keeping production running smoothly and efficiently across multiple Multiquip locations. You’ll oversee purchasing activities, inventory management, ERP data accuracy, and vendor negotiations while partnering closely with Engineering, Product Management, and Operations. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field; 7–10 years of experience in supply chain or procurement, or an equivalent combination.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage supply chain teams and activities.
  • Experience presenting to diverse groups and collaborating with senior leaders.
  • Ability to understand and analyze Engineering Bills of Materials and Engineering Change Orders.
  • Skilled in budgeting, financial calculations, and cost analysis.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong diplomacy, judgment, and professional presence.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects independently.
  • Proficient in purchasing activities, goods receipts, and production order processes.
  • Strong understanding of procurement operations, inventory management, and vendor relations.
  • Ability to manipulate and interpret ERP data for planning and forecasting.
  • Experience supervising and developing supply chain teams.
  • Ability to hire, train, coach, and evaluate employees in alignment with organizational standards.
  • Consistent in upholding company policies, values, and performance expectations.
  • Prior SAP ERP experience preferred.
  • Proficient in standard business software including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

  • Lead all procurement and purchasing activities to support manufacturing and distribution requirements.
  • Prepare, maintain, and improve purchasing systems, processes, and procedures.
  • Extract and analyze ERP data to develop monthly forecasts for planning, procurement, and production.
  • Monitor material and parts inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels and timely replenishment.
  • Approve purchase orders for materials, tools, and equipment while ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Analyze market and delivery
  • Negotiate complex purchasing agreements for equipment, supplies, and services.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
