About The Position

Our local client is seeking a Supply Chain Manager who will oversee and optimize all aspects of the supply chain, from strategic planning to operational execution. This role is critical for ensuring cost efficiency, supplier management, risk management, and overall leadership within the supply chain function. The ideal candidate will collaborate with multiple departments, including product development, logistics, sales, finance, and HR, to ensure a seamless flow of goods and services.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
Proven experience in supply chain management, logistics or operations.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in supply chain software and database management systems.

Responsibilities

Execute supply chain strategies that align with organizational goals.
Work with global operations team to create accurate forecasts and manage forecast adjustments.
Monitor and manage day-to-day supply chain operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
Optimize inventory levels and logistics operations to minimize costs and improve service levels.
Identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement across supply chain.
Implement metrics to track performance and drive continuous improvement.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality and reliability.
Oversee receipt of shipments into inventory.
Track expiration dates for products.
Assess and mitigate risks associated with supply chain processes and supplier relationships.
Develop contingency plans to address potential disruptions in the supply chain.
Oversee the maintenance and accuracy of the product database to ensure data integrity.
Manage product Methodology.
Collaborate with IT to implement systems and tools for efficient data management.
Collaborate with product development teams to ensure supply chain considerations are integrated into product design.
Monitor line plan for seasons.
Provide feedback on product feasibility based on supply chain capabilities.
Work closely with sales and marketing teams to align supply chain strategies with market demand.
Communicate stock levels and strategize promotions.
Support promotional activities and product launches with timely supply chain execution.
Collaborate with finance to develop budgets and forecasts for supply chain operations.
Create and provide weekly AP report for product manufacturers.
Calculate supplier deposits and payments.
Work with HR to ensure the supply chain team is adequately staffed and skilled.
Participate in management meetings to align supply chain objectives with overall business strategy.
Provide insights and recommendations based on supply chain performance.
