About The Position
Staffworks Professional is recruiting an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead planning, scheduling, purchasing, inventory management, supplier performance, and order fulfillment at our client's SUNY Poly facility. This role is responsible for ensuring material availability, supporting customer delivery commitments, and driving supply chain performance in a fast-growing manufacturing environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Engineering, or related field.
- Supply chain leadership experience in manufacturing or distribution environments.
- Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems, production scheduling, purchasing, inventory management, and S&OP processes.
Nice To Haves
- APICS/ASCM certification
- Experience in industrial, automotive, electronics, HVAC/R, or high-mix manufacturing environments
Responsibilities
- Lead production planning, scheduling, purchasing, inventory management, and order fulfillment activities.
- Ensure material availability to support production, customer deliveries, and new product launches.
- Manage supplier performance, shortages, delivery risks, and supply chain escalations.
- Monitor and improve KPIs related to on-time delivery, inventory health, supplier performance, and schedule adherence.
- Partner with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Sourcing to support growth, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Develop and coach supply chain team members while driving continuous improvement initiatives.
