About The Position

Wood is currently seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to join our team in Greenville, SC. This role is responsible for the leadership and management of a deployed supply chain project team, overseeing all aspects of supply chain management including materials management, warehousing, expediting, procurement, subcontracts, negotiation, and reporting. Key responsibilities include directing and managing supply chain activities for a specific project, administering and supervising assigned supply chain personnel within the project, and ensuring the competence and performance of all assigned supply chain personnel. The role requires a clear understanding of the client’s head contract requirements, including Wood's responsibilities, and incorporating these into appropriate project supply chain strategies, plans, procedures, and terms and conditions. A strong knowledge of commercial terms and conditions is essential, along with the ability to interface with Wood legal/commercial experts and initiate/discuss adaptations to reach a robust commercial agreement. The position involves regularly monitoring and reporting progress of all project procurement activities and ensuring the team regularly updates reports/systems for accurate reporting, escalating any critical issues and risks to project management.

Requirements

  • Experienced Supply Chain Manager.
