About The Position

The Supply Chain Manager oversees all aspects of managing Inland Groups supply chain operations, including purchasing, inventory, selection of vendors, and distribution of finished goods and ensures that all policies and procedures related to purchasing are in place. This position will also guarantee fairness to all vendors and suppliers and upholds the highest ethical standards.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of progressive supply chain experience in a large enterprise.
  • 5+ years in a senior leadership role.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management or relevant field.
  • Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or Supply Chain Management Profession (SCMA) designation.
  • Proven leadership skills and the ability to drive performance.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders through all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in manufacturing and supply chain management software and tools, such as ERP/MRP systems, inventory management software, and demand planning tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and make data driven decisions in live with procurement policies.

Responsibilities

  • Oversees and leads the operations of the supply chain department, setting goals, expectations as well as providing appropriate guidance, assistance, training and development to staff.
  • Develops and implements a strategy to ensure that critical processes run effectively and achieve organizational goals and performance KPIs.
  • Negotiates with vendors to obtain optimal contracts and pricing.
  • Utilizes data monitoring and analytics to evaluate past performance and trends and forecast inventory and distribution requirements.
  • Develops short and long-range plans for all purchases involving sequential planning of dates and time for supplier quotes, competitive bids, lead times and delivery schedules.
  • Monitors and analyzes internal costs and price and value analysis.
  • Partners with internal leadership and internal business units in order to establish sourcing strategies.
  • Evaluates and develops strategic supplier relationships, negotiates contracts, and implements systems for monitoring performance, assesses risk, and responds to changes in demand or disruptions in the supply chain.
  • Evaluates supplied proposals and implements proper contracts with emphasis on quality, costs, delivery and performance.
  • Perform/complete other additional projects, duties, and assignments as required and/or by request.
