About The Position

Create Wellness is hiring a Supply Chain Manager to help execute and scale the end-to-end supply chain processes that will support Create’s next stage of scale. This role sits on our Operations team and reports directly to the Director of Supply Chain. You will be responsible for managing the complete supply chain lifecycle, from procurement and vendor management through to finished good shipment across channels. You’ll work closely with suppliers and contract manufacturers to ensure materials and finished products are delivered in full and on time, while maintaining strong system discipline within our ERP. This role is execution-forward but requires strong business judgment. You’ll influence supply timing decisions based on MOQs and lead times, manage vendor performance through structured scorecards, and support cost optimization initiatives. You’ll collaborate cross-functionally with Inventory Planning, FP&A, and Distribution & Logistics to balance service levels, cost, and working capital as we scale. This is a high-ownership individual contributor role for someone who thrives in detail, builds strong vendor relationships, and wants to help shape a scalable, resilient supply chain foundation.

Requirements

  • 4–6+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, operations, or related roles, ideally within CPG, wellness, food/beverage, or other physical product environments.
  • Hands on experience managing purchase orders and supplier communications.
  • You take full responsibility for delivering results, not just completing tasks.
  • You don’t wait for direction to fix issues — you see the problem, solve it, and improve the process.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to juggle competing priorities without dropping the ball.
  • Strong in Excel/Google Sheets; able to analyze data, spot trends, and make recommendations.
  • Experience working with contract manufacturers and external vendors networks.
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment.

Responsibilities

  • Own day-to-day procurement execution across raw materials and finished goods.
  • Determine PO timing in partnership with the Inventory Planner, incorporating supplier lead times, MOQs, and production schedules.
  • Place and manage purchase orders within our ERP system, ensuring accuracy in pricing, quantities, and delivery timelines.
  • Track open POs and proactively communicate with vendors to ensure materials arrive in full, on time, and in good condition.
  • Serve as a core ERP user for supply chain operations, maintaining accurate lead times, vendor data, and order statuses across channels and purchase orders.
  • Monitor order flow and resolve exceptions in partnership with internal support teams
  • Support continued stabilization and improvement of our recently integrated ERP environment
  • Manage relationships and performance for a portfolio of suppliers and contract manufacturers
  • Track supplier KPIs including lead time adherence and purchase price variance
  • Communicate weekly with contract manufacturers on production status and shipment readiness
  • Partner with Distribution & Logistics to ensure seamless handoff through final shipment
  • Maintain in-stock levels of critical DTC non-sellable materials (mailers, inserts, packaging components)
  • Balance weeks of cover, cost, and cash flow through disciplined ordering practices
  • Build and maintain supplier scorecards and structured performance tracking
  • Support cost optimization initiatives, including RFPs and vendor negotiations
  • Contribute to scalable procurement processes as the business grows

Benefits

  • Competitive compensation including salary and equity ($135k - $145k base)
  • Fully-paid health, dental, and vision insurance
  • Downtown Manhattan office (4 days in office), with flexible work setup and 15 days of PTO
