About The Position

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Supply Chain Manager to oversee and optimize end-to-end supply chain operations for our manufacturing facility in Beaver Dam, WI. This role is responsible for procurement, production planning, inventory management, logistics, and supplier relationships to ensure efficient, cost-effective delivery of materials and finished goods. The ideal candidate is a data-driven leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and is committed to continuous improvement, operational excellence, and cross-functional collaboration.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, or related field
  • 5+ years of supply chain experience in a manufacturing environment
  • 2+ years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement supply chain strategies aligned with company goals
  • Optimize processes across procurement, production planning, and distribution
  • Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service levels
  • Manage supplier relationships, contract negotiations, and performance metrics
  • Source raw materials and components while ensuring quality, cost, and delivery targets are met
  • Mitigate supply risks and ensure continuity of supply
  • Oversee inventory levels to balance availability with working capital targets
  • Implement inventory control practices (e.g., cycle counting, safety stock levels)
  • Monitor and analyze inventory accuracy and turnover
  • Collaborate with production teams to develop accurate demand forecasts and production schedules
  • Ensure alignment between supply plans and manufacturing capacity
  • Respond effectively to changes in demand or operational disruptions
  • Manage inbound and outbound logistics, transportation, and warehousing activities
  • Negotiate freight rates and monitor logistics performance (on-time delivery, cost efficiency)
  • Ensure compliance with shipping regulations and safety standards
  • Lead and develop the supply chain team, including planners, buyers, and logistics personnel
  • Partner with operations, finance, sales, and quality teams to support business objectives
  • Drive a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence
  • Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
  • Develop KPIs and dashboards (e.g., OTIF, inventory turns, supplier performance)
  • Provide regular reporting and recommendations to senior leadership
