About The Position

As the Supply Chain Manager, you will plan, organize, and lead the Supply Chain planning function for the facility, which includes packaging, raw material planning, production planning, inventory management and production scheduling to meet the requirements of service and quality, satisfying safety and environmental regulations. You will be onsite at PPG's Lafayette, IN Plant.

Requirements

BS/BA degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or Engineering, or related field.
5+ years of Supply Chain experience in a batch manufacturing facility
ERP experience (Navision, Oracle, SAP, etc.)
Advanced Excel Skills (Pivot tables, Vlookups) and Power BI

Responsibilities

Measure inventory health and initiate actions to minimize at risk inventory and improve inventory health.
Manage safety stock levels for raw materials, on hand Intermediates and finished goods.
Ensure that the supply chain is set up to optimize working capital and achieve required service levels.
Perform analytics to aid in inventory replenishment and safety stock settings and analyzing stock vs. made to order items.
Collaborate with other teams (Sales, Technical, Operations, Customer Service, and Demand planning) to develop and implement operational excellence in Supply and Inventory Planning.
Work with procurement team to manage the strategic aspects of supplier reliability and delivery performance for purchased finished goods, raw materials, and packaging.
Oversee purchasing raw materials within published lead times and at the lowest possible cost.
Manage raw material inventory to minimize investment without negative impact on manufacturing efficiency.
Ensure adherence to all applicable environmental, health and safety regulations, standards and policies
Communicate with all levels of the organization
Lead internal team of planners to manager day-to-day execution of Supply Chain goals and customer requirements
